Leadership
Steve Attard
President
Steve is the president and founder of GCPL. He brings over 20 years of design and engineering experience to the company. He began his career by receiving a formal education from the University of Michigan, majoring in chemistry and minoring in physics. During and after his tenure as a student, Steve spent six years working in the petrochemical industry, specifically in hazardous waste recovery. He joined the materials management team at Ford Motor Company in 1996 and it was at Ford where he received his electrical experience. Ford Motor Co. provided a diverse environment of electrical experience, from substation maintainance to repair of robotic circuits. Steve left Ford in 2001 to start Attard Electrical Contracting Corp. AEC performed electrical construction services on public and private projects in the southeastern Michigan area for approximately six years.
